Provide and update policies, guidelines, and frameworks related to the development, offering, and management of academic programs as well as courses delivered via ODL.
Plan strategic development and monitoring of ODL programs at UTeM.
Identify ODL programs with potential to be offered by considering market demand, academic field development, and student needs.
Design curriculum structures for ODL programs, including identifying learning objectives, program structures, and course components.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to plan course content for ODL programs, including teaching methods, teaching strategies, and assessments.
Ensure that programs offered comply with practices set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
Conduct curriculum reviews to ensure relevance with student needs, current technological trends, and developments in academic fields.
Evaluate program performance and identify fields that need improvement, including collecting feedback from students, lecturers, and other stakeholders.
Implement improvement actions.
